I just read the title of this post this in one of my favorite weekly ezines. These words struck a chord with me as they reflect the philosophy upon which Daydream Excursions operates. When working with you as your trusted travel concierge, I deeply care about doing whatever I can so you will come home with pleasant memories of a wonderful trip. Are you careful with the many different agents/vendors/suppliers/professionals with whom your trust your hard earned money? Or, are you friends with some or all of them?
At Daydream Excursions, I enjoy engaging my travel guests; by that I mean finding out what’s really important to you and learning as much as you’d like to share with me so I can do the best job for you. I want our relationship to feel like a friendship since that’s what I hope it is or will become!
What does this mean to you?
Not having to worry about hidden fees/extras that were not explained.
Not having to be careful wondering if you’re getting a fair price for your vacation.
Not having to worry if you are part of a “sales contest.”
“Saying I hate to bother you;” and hearing “It’s my pleasure to help you.”
Really understanding that I work for you and not my suppliers.
In short, “being careful is not as much fun as being friends.”
